It contains a sample of music from the movie Great Expectations, which was and still somewhat is unprecedented and works well. This song features some booming production. This is the epitome of a great Kanye West song. It sounds great and Ye’s performance is excellent. This is the closest thing to a rap song on the album and it’s still rap-singing. The production is excellent and compliments the song very well. This is another one of my favorite Kanye songs.
The production is wonderful and fits excellently with the song. Ye’s singing is once again great and the lyrics are also great. Everything about this song is catchy, from the production to the chorus and verses. This is another hit off the album and between this and “Heartless,” I think In prefer this a little more. His flow and delivery suit the production and Ye’s performance well and his lyrics are fantastic and also compliment the song well. The chorus is repetitive, (Fun fact: this song says the word “amazing” 43 times.) but catchy and still sounds good. They are short, but impactful and lyrically good. The tribal production, mainly driven by drums, was great and suited this song well. Overall, this famous track deserved the chart attention it got, if not more. The production on the track suits the vocals very well. The rap-singing is really good and something that Ye does well. This is another one of Ye’s most recognizable and like most of them, it is great. The production is awesome and both artists do great over it. The transition to this song from “Say You Will” also sounds great. Ye’s storytelling abilities over three short verses is also incredible. Both do a great job with their performances. While Cudi’s part is limited to an 11-word chorus, his chemistry with Ye is shown here. The very first Kids See Ghosts song ever is contained on this album. The instrumental outro is also really good as it gives time for the track to breathe and while it is the same beat repeating over about three minutes, Kanye makes it work.Ģ. His lyrics come in the form of short verse and while they are short, they portray the pain he is feeling. The futuristic sounding beat is incredible and fits the song well. While the new style of music was criticized a bit when it first dropped, it has paved the way for many of today’s artists, including Juice WRLD naming the album as one of his all-time favorites.
It is almost completely free of swearing and rapping is minimized. The album was a lot different from his previous affairs. This inspired him to create his most ambitious album yet, 808s & Heartbreak. His mother, Donda West, also passed away in surgery, which took a heavy toll on him. His fiancée, Alexis Phieffer, and him called off their engagement and ended their relationship. However, after his third album, Graduation, dropped, he went through many things and experienced tragedy. He topped charts, won awards, and was famous. In 2008, it had seemed that Kanye West had it all.
